"FIREBUG” IN VICTORIAN BUSH
(Rec. 7.45) MELBOURNE, April 11 Victorian bushmen are fighting fires which were deliberately started by a firebug in a truck. The outbreaks cover an area of fifty square miles in the Dandenong Ranges, and they have already caused damage estimated at forty thousand pounds. Two people have reported seeing a man in a truck halt in wooded country, pile up heaps of firewood and set them alight.
