I Our Own Correspondent]. Mrs Guy, of Wellington, has been here on a visit to her parents, Mr and Mrs C. Thorn. Mi-s I. Robb has returned from a visit to Wellington. Mr S. Ramsden and son -have left on a visit to Christchurch. Mrs McCabe has left on a visit to the North Island. Messrs A. and W. Erovn have left for Cromwell owing to the illness of their father.
Mrs Gidley, of Christchurch, is the guest of Mr and Mrs W. Gidley. Mrs J. Devescovi is spending a holiday in Dunedin. Nurse M. Lines, of Hokitika, is visiting her parents here. Mr D. Jobling, who has been a patient in the Reefton Hospital, has returned home. . . . Mrs S. Stephens has been visiting Mrs J. Ramsden, of Dunofiie. A friendly game of football took place last Sunday at Tkamatua between Waiura and Ikamatua, and resulted in a win for the latter team i)V j! to 8.
