(Received April 8, 10.0 p.m.) MANAGUE (NCARAGUA,) April 8 The volcano, Cero Negra, erupted fiercely to-day causing residents of Leon City and other towns to flee by the thousand. Special trains are evacuating the inhabitants and the Army is supplying food and clothing to those who abandoned their farms. Crops are buried under thick sand and ash. The volcano’s flames are visible 40 miles away A series of eruptions began late last week.
