RAILWAY MEN BACK AT WORK

BRISBANE, Aprli 7. Virtually all 23,000 Queensland railwaymen reported for work yesterday and nearly 1,400 watersiders answered the calls at Brisbane. Because overseas vessels had avoided Queensland during the strike no work was available for about 500 watersiders. Many members of the Australian Railways Union have resigned and joined other unions because they are dissatisfied with the handling of the recent Queensland strike.
