HOSPITAL CONFERENCE AT GREYMOUTH TO-NIGHT

All hospital boards on the West Coast will be represented a conference to be held in Greymouth this evening to consider the appointment of a full-time radiologist and pathologist to serve hospitals on the Coast. The Buller Board formulated the proposal and suggested that one specialist - should be stationed at Westport and one at Greymouth. The Grey Board made a counter suggestion that both should be stationed at Grevmouth as this .was the logical centre. To-night’s discussion will likely be mainly on this point more than on actual appointments.
