HOLED IN ONE A hole in one was scored on Sunday bv a new member of the Greymouth Golf Club. Mr J. B. Thomas (Christchurch) at the Kaiata, links. Mr Thomas’s feat came in a four ball match at the ninth hole', a. distance of 120 yards from the tee, which, is not visible from the hole. On Saturday after the season had been officially ojjpned by Mr W. Meldrum. club president, a Canadian formsome was won by S. Cox and Mrs J. Bluett with 46 points.
