Arabs Warn U.N.O. Against Action IN.Z.P.A. —Reuter Cable]. (Rec. 8.40) JERUSALEM, April 4 After their advance party had silenced an Arab outpost, several hundred members of the Jewish Haganah crept over the Judean hills at night, and, in a full-scale attack with machine-guns, mortars, and grenades, captured the village of Castel, on Mount Carmel. The village was an Arab bastion dominating the main Jerusalem Tel Aviv road, whence Arabs have been' blockading the Holy City. Arab sources reported that hundreds of Arab reinforcements rushed to Castel, and that counter-attacks began.
