Mr. Bevin Handling Situation Now (Rec. 7.35). LONDON, April 2. Rt. Hon. Ernest Bevin, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, is now personnally handling the developments in Germany, according to the political correspondent of the “Daily Exnress." The correspondent says that the situation is considered to be specially urgent, because the British, American and French authorities have to feed more than one million Germans in Berlin. Only enough food for the Allied forces can be taken in by air. The possibility of trouble among the German cilivians in Berlin is not ruled out, and there is evidence, the “Times” correspondent says, that this kind of development is the Russian aim.
