PHILIPPINES PLANS TO MEET RISK OF WAR

(Rec. 10.30) LONDON, April 2 The Philippines Defence Secretary, Senor Ruperto Kangleon, has disclosed that the Philippine Army General Staff are working out plans to prepart the forces of the Republic for action in the case of war. He stated that an emergency outlay of 65 millions 604 thousand dollars would equip and put in the field, in the event of war, approximately forty-five thousand men.
