Young Man Commits Suicide

P.A. INVERCARGILL, April 2 The body of George Lachlan Gray, single, aged 29, of Waliacetown, was found by his father, hanging from a tree outside of the residence, about, six o’clock this morning. Finding that his son was not in bed, Mr Gray left the house, and he discovered the body. Gray was a returned serviceman. He had left a note stating his intention com '"'ll suicide. At the inquest, before Mr R. C. Aberrtethy, a verdict that death was due to hanging while Gray was in a depressed and nervous state of mind, was returned.
