No Uranium Found in Antarctic

(Rec. 10.0). WASHINGTON. April 1. Commander Gerald Ketchum, leader of the United States recent Antarctic expedition, reported to-day that the expedition had found no deposits of uranium or other minerals of commercial value. Commander Ketchum added that his two icebreakers brought back more than two tons ot_ rocks which were taken to Syra-. cuse University for research. Tlje United Press comments that there has been no repots from Britain, Russia, Argentina, Chile or Norway on their findings in the Antarctic since the first speculation that the Continent harboured huge deposits of uranium.
