WELLINGTON, April 1 Tom Maguire, manager of the Australian champion, Dave Sands, said to-day that Sands’s proposed fight at Napier on April 17 with Roy Stevens, the New, Zealand middleweight champion, was off due to 'the rtxies that afternoon and the inability to secure a suitable hail that night.
