P.A. WANGANUI. March 30 Because of heavy rain to-day the representative cricket match for the Hawke Cup between Wanganui (holders) and Waikato was abandoned. Wanganui had a lead of 74 (#1 the first innings, and an overall lead of 199 when play was called off. This cup will remain in Wanganui this season.
