Ex-N.Z. Trawler to Be Cold Store

(Rec. 10.55) SINGAPORE, Mar. 30. The Refrigerated Sea Transport Company here has purchased the former New Zealand sixty-ton trawler West Wind for three thousand five hundred pounds. The West Wind, which was brought to Singapore as a fishing trawler, will now be converted into a floating grocery store. Site will carry from 20 to 25 tons of refrigerated perishable foodstuffs on each trip to different places in the Malayan Archipelago.
