Mr and Mrs W. Boyle returned yesterday from Dunedin.
Mr W. M. Stewart returned from Christchurch yesterday.
The Rt. Rev. Monsignor J. Long P.P., and the Rev. Fathers C. Flaherty and P. Foley left by yesterday’s express for Christchurch.
Mrs A. Laughton, accompanied by her daughter, Alice, and sons, James and Ron, returned to Christchurch by yesterday’s express, after having spent the Easter vacation with relatives in Cobden.
The death occurred on Monday at Reefton of Mrs. Eleanor Frances Provis, wife of Mr. Sydney Provis of that town, at the age of 63 years. She is survived by her husband, three sons, Sydney, Henry and Edward, all of Reefton; and one daughter, Mrs. Galway, of Rape hoe. The funeral took place at Reefion yesterday, following a service a l . St. Stephen's Church.
