Man to Face Charges Found Drowned
CHRISTCHURCH, March 24. The body of Edward Walter Richard Savage, aged 54, single a labourer, who was to have anneared in the Magistrate’s Court tomorrow on a charge of indecent assault on a female, was washed up on North Beach this morning. A pile of clothes found in the sandhills, was subsequently established as belonging to Savage.
