WEDDING
DOOGAN—McGREEVY. St. Mary of the Angels’ Church, Wellington, was the scene of a wedding on Monday when Thelma Cecelia McGreevy was married to James Louis Doogan. Nuptial Mass was celebrated by the Rev. Father T. Heffernan. The bride is the second daughter of the late Mr. Stephen McGreevy and Mrs. McGreevy, Wellington, formerly of “Mt. Erin,” Waipawa, and the bridegroom is the younger son of the late Mr. J. L. Doogan and Mrs. Doogan, Wellington, and formerly of Greymouth. The bride, escorted by her brother, Mr. L. McGreevy, wore a graceful gown of ivory satin cut on classical lines. Her tulle veil was held in place by a coronet of pearls and orange blossom and she carried a sheaf of arum lilies. She was attended by her youngest sister, Margaret, gowned in leaf green georgette with full sun-ray pleated skirt. She carried a sheaf of gold-coloured flowers.
The best man was Mr. E. McGreevy. The reception was held at the Grand Hotel.
