It adds: Budge, in a weaker field, is as outstanding a champion, as his predecessors. Cramm is closer to him than to Perry. “The Times” ranks the women players as follow: Dorothy Round, Lizanan, Jedrzejowska, Marble, Sperling, Mathieu, Jacobs, Bundy, Horn.
