HON. H. T. ARMSTRONG

Auckland Welcome Home [Per Press Association], AUCKLAND, September 20. In a friendly atmosphere at the Town Hall this afternoon a welcome home was extended to Hon. H. T. Armstrong (Minister of Labour) by the Mayor, Sir Ernest Davis, and other citizens. There was a large and representative attendance. The Mayor said that Hon. Mr Armstrong’s tour and the information which he had gathered concerning the industrial conditions abroad would be an asset to New Zealand. A welcome was extended to the Minister by the Harbour Board chairman, Hon. T. Bloodworth, who welcomed thd' Minister home. At both gatherings Hon. Mr Armstrong spoke informatively of his overseas impressions.
