I Per Press Association]. WHANGAREI, Septemoer 11. In the semi-finals of the North Auckland ladies’ golf championships. Miss C. Stevens (North Shore) beat Miss Fleming (Christchurch) the Tasman Cup player one up on the last green. Miss Stevens using a mashie brilliantly, negotiated a stymie to win the match. Miss J. Stewart, (title holder) bent Mrs. E. H. Steele bv three to two. NAPIER, September 11. H. D. Brinsden (Auckland) won the Hawke’s Bay amateur golf championship, at Waiohiki yesterday, defeating H. E. Crosse (Napier) 3 and one.
