THE WEATHER
I Per Press Association!. WELLINGTON, September 12. The weather report, and forecast are us follows:-- ( General situation: The depression referred to yesterday passed during the night, but was followed by a secondary depression, and pressure is therefore still low in the south. It is now, however, rising over all of the Dominion. The oncoming anti-cy-clone is centred rather far north, so that, tlie southerly spell will not be so cold as was anticipated. Forecast: Winds'between west and south; moderate Io strong, generally, and of gale force in many places. Seas (N.Z. waters): Rough on the West. Coast and off shore south of East Cape; moderate to rather rough north of East Cape. Eastern Tasman Sea: Strong south-westerly winds to gales, and rough to high seas. Weather cold, boisterous, and changeable, with passing showers; hail in places and snow on (he ranges, but more especially in the western and southern districts.
