YESTERDAY’S SITTING. At a sitting of the Warden’s Court yesterday, Mr W. Meldrum, the Warden, j dealt with applications as follows: — Application for coal lease, J. M. Den-1 nehy.—Granted. 1 Application for claim, Olsen and Galbraith. —Granted. Application by .South Blackwater Mines, Ltd., for reduction of rent of two mining privileges. — Reduction eranted to 2/6 per acre from January 1, 1927. Application by Millerton Mines Ltd., for a reduction of rent of mining privileges. —Reduction to 2/6 per acre granted from Ist January, 1927. Application for surrender by Ngahere Gold Prospecting Co., Ltd., of special claim. —Accepted.
