ONE MAN SAVED. (Received February 28 at 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, February 28. A Greek steamer, the Stenies, struck a rock off Lands End in stormy weather, and sank in ten minutes. The third engineer, who was picked up clinging to a lifeboat, says that the crew launched a lifeboat, but it capsized. All except. himself and a fireman were immediately drowned. The fireman later relaxed his hold, and was drowned. Th<‘ engineer was rescued by a fish ing smack after being many hours in the water amid darkness.
