ALASKAN STORM. Fishing Fleet’s Fate. (Recd. Feb. 27 at 5.5 p.m.) NEW YORK, Feb. 27. A message from Seward, Alaska, states that the fate of one thousand fishermen, aboard one hundred and fifty vessels of the North Pacific halibut fleet, is unknown. A terrific storm lias swept Alaska Gulf. It was a westerly storm. The weather moderated to-day, possibly permitting the ships to reach safe havens.
