A meeting of the Advisory County Cricket Committee at Lords decided to recommend to the Marylebone Club the following system of points in County championship matches: Eight for a wi.-i in a completed match; should a matrl. be uncompleted, five points to the side leading on the first innings, and three to their opponents; in the event of a tie or no result on the first innings, four to be given te each side, provided in the second case that not less than six hours’ actual play have taken place,when less than six hours’ play have taken place, the match will not count for the championship; provided no result is obtained by this method, the scoring is to be by percentage, as previously.
