WORKER’S SUDDEN DEATH. BLENHEIM, Feb. 19. Frederick William Bismarck, a labourer, aged about 60, died suddenly today whilst harvesting. It is believed that he belonged to the Feilding district. TRAM CONDUCTOR’S DEATH. AUCKLAND, February 19. An inquest touching the .death of James M. Slater, tramway conductor, who met with a tragic death in Anza.: Avenue on the evening of February 11.1 was concluded by Coroner McKean this morning. The evidence of the motorman was that when he stopped the car at the usual stopping plaxe he found deceased missing. Men later reported that the conductor was lying on tl e road further back. Slater was- unconscious and he died before adijiissi-on to the hospital. No one saw the conductor fall from the car. A verdict of accidental death was returned.

Bartholomew, S.M., held an inquest yesterday, at Port Chalmers, touching the death yesterday, of George Frederick Robinson, a waterside worker, aged 37. The inquest was accordingly adjourned. MOTOR CYCLIST’S DEATH. DUNEDIN, Feb. 19. Albert Nisbett, the young man who was found unconscious on . .Berwick road on Wednesday, and who fell from a motor cycle, died to-day without regaining consciousness. ' FOUND DROWNED. ' NAPIER, Feb. 19. An inquest was opened this morning on t! 3 body of a man- who was found dre tfned on the beach at Petane oa Wednesday. It was adjourned till March 7th, for further inquiries, as the man is still unidentified.
