NEW PRAYER BOOK. BISHOP v. SUBORDINATE. (Received February' at 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, February 19. The Bishop of London’s recent speeech at Sydney’, in which he is reported to have said: “A silly’ person who had a church about the size of an office table” had used the Revised Prayer Book, has caused some concern. Dr. Geilie Cobb, who is believed to be the person referred to, say's: This remark is so unusual that 1 hope there is ?ome error in the cabled account. In my case, I would not like to reply tG he Bishop now. It would be more cour:eous to refrain at present. The Bishop s my superior officer.”
