AT AUCKLAND. AUCKLAND, Feb. IS. The Pi iim* Minister received a civic reception in the Town Hull to-night, when he was given an enthusiastic wel come after his tour abroad. Air (;. Baildon (Alayor of Aucklaiiu; presided. Air Coates expressed confidence that Britain was regaining her place as the principal manufacturing countrv of the world ami that the best brains were filing employed in its factory organisation. Britain had had a bad time, but was fast recovering. The best brainin the world were being applied t<j factory organisation and all that wa< needed was a constant supply of r:iv. materials.
