Children’s Hone, Richmond Road; St. Mary’s Home, Otahuhu; Diocesan Pension Board; Widows and Orphans Fund of the Diocese otf Auckland; LeslieI’resbvteiian Orphanage: Methodist. Or phanage; and Mt. Albert (Auckland) Ci'i-ck-et Assocint.io-n-r-£4OO each. Girls’ Friendly Society; and Auckland Choral Society—each £250. Order of Good Shepherd; Veterans Home, Epsom; Society for the Protec tion of Women and Children; Knox Home- for Incurables; Ladies’ Benevolent Society, Auckland; Plun-ket Soo.ie.ttv' St. Peter’s Anglfumn Chui-o’.i, Takiipuna; and Auckland HortieuJu:al Society—each £2OO. Missions to- Seamen, Aueiklt»id-H-r£lso. St. John’s Ambulance; Royal Male Choir; Bohemian Orchestra, Auckland: Typographical Association, Auckland, Sitilors’ Home; and Watersiders’ Union Bank Fund —each £lOO. Added to the aboVC are one/ o'v tnvo personal bequests?which bring the total amount left to philanthropic objects to £9350. Eighteen old employees of the deceased’s firm have been left bequests totalling £4300, in addition to which ev .ery employee of the Auckland ‘‘Star” for thirty years continuously, benefits. There are also bequests to employees at his private residence, Lake Taka puna; and legacies, to friends in Auckland and relatives in Canada and England. The residue of the estate is di vided amongst his sons, daughters, and grand-ehildren.
