There was a very poor attendance of householders at the annual meeting held in the schoolhouse at Kumara. Mr W. E. Richards occupied the chair. The following gentlemen wer enominatd as a committee and declared elected for the ensuing year : —A. Aitken. Rev. H. Braddock, T. T. Jones, J. Murdoch, W. E. Richards, A. Stubbs. A. Walters. At/ a subsequent meetin gof the new committee, Mr A. Aitken was appointed chairman, and Mr Braddock secretary. Mr T. T.
