The dates to be applied for by the different clubs were already recognised received and d«alt with. They wttl be forwarded to the Racing Conference immediately. The dates for *he Greymouth meetings were also fixed. The chairman was appointed to be the clubs represencamve at the Racing Conference af "Wellington in June. Mr A. Grogan applied for the use of the racecourse in Jime for the Coursing- Club. Permission granted on the usual conditions, that no erection >be made unless on the approval o.f the caretaker. The following are -some of tJi e principal figures taken from the roueh balance-sheet. Revenue from the totalisator for the two days was £883. The total taking".- from all other sources were £1605 18s 9d. The amount that went to Government as totalisator tax was £227 8s 6d.
