Captain Waring, a Liberal, speaking at Banffshire, said that he had twice voted against the Government and would give notice of a question to Mr Asquith to ascertain whether he no longer anticipates proceeding with the reform of the Second Cham ber on the lines, set down , in the preamble of the Parliament "Bill. Mr William O-Brien, speaking at Cork, said that even if the Veto Bill were passed forthwith unaltered, it would be ; humanly impossible to carry any Home 'Rule measure worth talking about with the present Parliament, No responsible front bencher would dare to say it was possible to establish an Irish Parliament with out another election.
