THE ELECTION.
The f ollowing gentlemen were elected for the committee : — Messrs Barrowman, Bignell, Forsj'fh, Jackson, Johnston, Keddell, "W. Morris, A. C. Russell, R. lYiliams, Forbes, W. Earl, Rose, Smithers, Poulter, Gray. The ballot resulted as follows : — W. Morris 83 Ti. C. Forsyth 83 A. C. Russell 82 F. Keddell 80 R. Williams '. 72 W. Earl 66 F. Barrowman 58. J. Jackson ......'. 52 W. Johnston 51 H. Bignell 46 J. Poulter 35 ■ T. Smithers 33 J. Gray : 30 D. Forbes 16 C. Rose 16 The usual votes of thanks were accorded to the headmaster and his staff for the satisfactory work done -during- the year. A vote of thanks to the chairman terminated the meeting.
