The Alexander sailed last evenin.? lor Wanganui direct, with a ca.go of coal. The Waimea sailed yesterday after noon for Wellington direct, coal laden. The KenneSy arrived from Wellington via way ports last evening and sails this morning for WVstport and Foxton. The Kaitoa leaves Wellington today for Grey via way ports and is due on Saturday. The Petone will leave on Thursday for Sydney with a cargo of timber. The Ngatoro is due to-day from Lyttelton and will sail to-night for Wellington. The Arahura entered the harbour at 4.15 yesterday afternoon and -'is timed to leave for north at 5 o'clock this morning. The following passengers are book ed to leave by the Arahura: — Misses Bautouvich, McMurdy, Burns, Lookhead", Berdinner, Horn, Patrick; Mes dames Tompkins and two children, Melville, McMurdy, Williams, Stapleton and two children, Boyle and child, Murdoch, Murray, Low, Price; Messrs Turner, McLaughlin, Ogilvie, 'Russell, Tomkie, Melville, Drickson, Boyd, Lomax, Lockhead, Bertnelson, Flemming, Davies, Wallace, Espie, Masters, Pollington (2) Lawson, Maskill, Byrne, Heffernan, Edge, Henderson (2), Kelly, Price, Dixon, Gumming, Cooic, Metbuok, Shirley, Penman, Shirley, Bottom, Devery, Miller, Paul Keeper and boy, Richardson, Stewart Hildebrand, 20 steerage. The Kotuku is expected to leave for Lytleton to-day coal laden. The Waipori will sail at the end of the week with a cargo of timber for Sydney. Due at Dunedin from Westport on Saturday the Union Company's cargo steamer Pukaki was on arrival at the; southern port, to withdraw for survey purposes. The Flora, which has been converted from a passenger steamer into a cargo carrier, tadces up the Pukaki's run and was due at Wellington from Lyttelton on Sunday, leaving on Monday for Nelson, Westport and .
