TARANAKI NOTES. *0, (By Tdiegxaph — Per Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH, April 17 The weather was unpleasant for the holidays, though to-day was bright and fine. A strong- wind was blowing. The principal attraction was the sports gathering, at which there were record fields, a feature Eeing that every contestant resitted in laranaki. • It' is ; reported here Jhat a motor garage at Stratford, formerly Morison's haymarket building, was "burned during the week end, and that there were clear indications of incendiarism discovered in an unoccupied two storey building" a few doors i away from- the scene of thi's fire, but j a stone throw from the Trocadero which was burned out a week or -so ago. ■ »
