CHRISTOHURCH, April 15. The New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club's Easter meeting opened to-day at Addington in beautiful weather with a >good attendance. The course was in capital order. The tote investments were £14,435 as against £8,427 last year. Following are the results : — Introductory Handicap, of 90 soys, one mile and a half. — Seychelles. 6 sec, 1; Uniform, lOsec, 2; Futiiritv, lOsecs., 3. Also started: Millie C.', Lulu Child, Rosechild, Sister Julian. Miss Moore, Lincoln Junr., and Lyonette. Won by half a length. Time 3.35 4-5. Ladies Bracelet Handicap, of 50 soys, one mile and a half.— Golden Mary, 7secs., 1; Richard E., 5 sees., 2; Chrysos, ssec, 3. Also started: Destruction, Coiner, Royal Belle, Manuka, Otonga, Rheims, Hardwood, Busy ißee, Proud Bess, Myrtle Wood, Proud Child, Redmorn, Verrific, Lady Lou, T.D., Adieu, Ohphelia, Special Lass, Ella Princess, Lady Wallace, Pepperwoon, Shakespeare, Roy C.
