ENGLISHMAN'S DUEL
SWORD FIGHT WITH GERMAN OVER POLITICS. An extraordinary duel between an Englishman' ; and a 'German ■ was fought in Centennial Park, Sydney, New South Wales, on Tuesday. Both combatants were--*pairifully< wounded. It appears that T on Monday afternoon two wool -buyers ; one' English and the fdther • (German,' meft in ;a tobacconist's shop 'and had' a hot discussion, concerning German policy, with especial reference to_ the : fortification of Flushing. Words led to ' blows, but the parties eventually adi journed to a neighbouring place of refreshment and arranged a duel.
