The Town €lerk, -Mr T. T. Bellringer was stated at tha /Borough Council meeting to have established a record, which must be consideerd as unique as it was satisfactory.

For the past three years, every penny of rates and rents due to the New Plymouth .Borough Council have been collected before the end of the financial year .

The municipal electric light Department made a profit for the year of £1860, the earnings from public and private lighting and power for the year being £4428 Is 7d.
