NEW PLYMOUTH, April 11
Splendid indications : of i petroleum have been found on' Mr Hemy Weston's. farm, on Frankley Road, just beyond the 'borough boundary. ' v
The farm manager noticed a smell of petroleum when removing! some posts, and upon a" pit 'being- sunk, a considerable quantity of petroleum was on top of "the"., water in it, and a strong- smell of petroleum was given off.
