BOROUGH COUNCIL
A meeting . of the Grey Borough Council was heid yesterday evening. Present: The Mayor, Crs. Sheedy, Petrie, Shannahan, Perkins, and ' Kerr.
Accounts amounting to £4,048 were passed for payment. The Statutory declaration empowering the Borough to (borrow from the Bank the sum of £30,979 19s "was confirmed.
It was resolved to hold a polling booth for the elections in 1 the Technical School as' the State School was not available.
It was resolved that the Mayor interview the Traffic Manager to delay tho train to Reefton on election day until 9.30 a.m.
