Shroder, it is small wonder that the Temperance Hotel at the corner of Tainui and Mackey Streets, has be"come such a favourite place of residence ,not only amongst visitors to Greymouth, buit. also amongst many pftgaged in business in- the town. During the time the establishment has been in the .hands of Mrs Shroder, extensive alterations and additions have been made at very great expense. Two 'miagnificenlc protected balconies halve been eredted runnning along both the Tainui Street and Mackay Street sides of the building, from" which extensive views of the town, ocean and outlying coun>try are obtainable. Everything inside,, is just as comfortable as it is possible to make it. Special attention is devoted to the providing of really comforta lbeesb .dTeh shrdl shem comfortable beds. The bedrooms are all airy and bright, the bathrooms are. convenient and/ are supplied with hot and cold water, the meals arc of the best, there are ample recreation rooms, and the position is central. .What more is therefore required by seekers for good accommodation. A cosy bar has been fitted un at which temperance 'drinks of all kinds, milk, and a_. special non-al-coholic beer brewed by the Zealandia Company will be on s^le, day- and nirM, and also on Sundays. >■.."•
