AN ENTHUSIASTIC RECEPTION
» — (By Telegraph — P-er Press Association} WELLINGTON, April 10. This afternoon Mr Hugh J. Ward, Miss Grace Palotta and the members of Mr Ward's Company were tendered a public reception at the Town Hall by ithe citizens of Wellington, in (recognition of their services in helping: the Children's .Hospital fund last year. His Worship ithe Mayor presided over the gathering", at which there were .about 3,000 ■ persons' present. . Mr Ward was presented with an illuminated and : TVftr Wa{rd and .Miss Palotta each received souvenir tablets, bearing a sketch of the new hospital in silver, and each member of the company was presented with a photograph of "the address to (Mr Ward, which is surrounded by photographs of the members of the company. The proceedings were very enthusiastic.
