[PRESS AaENCY.] Dunedin, Dec. 27. Sir Dillon Eoll haa trifchdrawn from Mia Mataura contest. A fire in George street destroyed the premises of Jenkins, furniture dealer; Moylan, tailor; and Davis butcher. Jenkins's stock was insured in the National for L 30 0; estimated loss, LIOO. Moylan was insured in the New Zealand, for L 25 0; estimated loss, LSO. Both shops are owned by Harrop and Neill, and are insured for LSO in the New Zealand office. The origin of the fire is unknown. Two suits of clothes were found on Tomahawk Beach on Saturday. It is believed they belonged to two lads who went rabbit shooting and bathing. The bodies are not yet found. The weather for the holiday to-day is wretched.
