Nbison", May 28. A meeting of members representing the settled districts was held last night, with the object to re-commit the Estimates, on the ground that the Gold-fields have an unfair share of the expenditure for Public Works, Mr M'Gregor and Mr Donne joined it. Mr Wastney was elected a member of the Waste Lands Board by the Council over Mr Shepherd by four votes.
