The " New Zealand Gazette," of the 31st December, 1874, contains :— A description, line and limits ... of :the de- 1 viation of a portion of the Waimea water-race ; a similar description, &c, of deviation of a further poation of the 'railway from Brunner to Greymouth relating to the Gorge Bridge and Railway station at Brunnerton ; a notice withdrawing certain lands from the g'oid-fieids, situated about three miles west of Lake Hochstetter, required for the Nelson Creek : Water-race ; a notice reserving for public purpose Reserve No. 49, situate in the town of Greymoutb,. bounded on the north-eastward by Marlborough street, on the south-west by High street, and on the westward by the road and Railway Reserve.
