■ Melbourne. — The Argus, of the 11th instant, reports : — : In the import markets, a moderate amount of business has been transacted, though tbe heavier purchasers show little desire to operate very extensively. Medium to good grainy yellow Mauritius at ' same time realised from 31s 6d to 33s 6d. .Teas are in moderate request for actual trade purposes, but we hear of no large lines being .taken up. Chests and half-chests have been placed at prices rising from Is Id for common to Is 6d for medium. Flowers of sulphur have been attracting attention of late. Sales have been making, and the price ha 3 been run up to Lls 15s to LI 6. In liquids, we hear of the quittance of 2000 cases Hennessy's brandy at 295.
