Dispatch left on Tuesday for Westport, where, on the evening's tide, she towed into the Buller river the schooner Aima, from Melbourne, bhe left on the ittOTßiiig's tide, and arrived here ia time to tender the s.s'. Tararua, from Melbourne, arid briDg her passengers to the wharf. . .; ' The s.s. Kennedy sailed yesterday.morning for Westport and Nelson, and the p.s. Wallace, of the same line, arrived on the evening's tide from WesfcporG. She will sail to-day for Hokitika, The s.s. Tararua, Captain Clark, from Melbourne direct, arrived off Hokitika at 4 p.m. on Monday, after a good passage. She was not tendered until yesterday morning, owing to the heavy sea on the bar. Yesterday morning, at ten o'clock, she was tendered at Hokitika by the Waipara, and came on here about 1 p.m., when she was met by the p.s. Dispatch on her way down from Westport, which transhipped her passengers, and -allowed her to pass on to Nelson. The Tararua spoke the Claud Hamilton off Hogan Island on the inorning of tbe 12th inst.
