Taurauga, from Dunedin The steamer Omeo; from Melbourne via the Coast ports, arrived in the roadstead on Saturday, and was duly tendered by the D.spatch, after which she proceeded on her voyage. Amongst her passengers for Gieymoiuh were 58 Chiuamen from Dunedin. The p.s. Dispatch left' early yesterday morning on a trip to Hokitika, returning to harbor late last night, with several passengers. The steamer Waipara arrived in harbor fvo'n. Hokitika last night, with nearly iifty passengers. A gentleman who came by her makes great complaints of the manner in which certain of her passengers, whom he describes as belonging to the genus •'larrikin,'' conducted themselves, running riot over the deck, scrimmaging, and throwing potatoes about, to the great amioyaucc of their fellowpassengers. The steamer Lioness left Hokitika ou Saturday with a number of passengers for Greymouth. On her passage up she fell in ■with the schooner *pray, took that vessel in tow, and returned with her to Hokitika, to the infinite disgust of the passengers for the Grey.
