The Government steamer Luna airived at Westpprt on Sunday, and is expected here on this morning's tide. On last evening's tide the p. s Dispatch brought to the wharf the schooner Mabel Jane, from Lyttelton, with a cargo of produce and bricks, which will be.Bold on the wharf to-day by the agents, Nancarrow and Co. The B.b Tararua is expected to arrive from Melbourne direct to-day, when ebo will take passengers for all New Zealand ports and Melbourne. : A late Auckland telegram says. — "Intelligence has been .brought by the Prince Alfred from New Caledonia, of the barratry of the schooner Jessie, sold here last week. The mate and crew had landed the captain on one of the Bouth Sea Islands, and brought the schooner to Auckland for sale. The captain was rescued by a French schooner and taken to Mew Caledonia. The police are searching for the delinquents. The schooner professed to put in here short of water.
