At the agricultural dinner, last night, 170 persons were present. The Governor, in replying to his healthy spoke highly of the Exhibition, and of the great progress; of the Colony. He said he would do his utmost to preserve good relations and connections with the mother couutry. Yogel, in replying to the toast of the Ministry, said that railways were the great modern road, and payment of interest on outlay should not be regarded absolutely necessary by a Government desirous of opening up a country.
